ReactionView - Real time Mid IR reaction monitoring in single or
multiple reactors. |
|

|
Remspec’s
fiber-optic probes are already established as industry leaders in
performance and versatility with interchangeable sampling heads for
ATR, transmission, reflectance, grazing-angle reflectance, and
high-pressure high-temperature reaction monitoring. In the
ReactionView(tm) system, this capability is combined with a ruggedly
constructed, compact FTIR module that weighs about 35 lbs, has an
Ethernet interface and its own IP address. The whole system is
controlled from a laptop computer (desktop computers are available,
too) equipped with VizIR(TM), our full-featured data-collection and
post-processing software. The ReactionView(TM) makes IR reaction
monitoring a truly portable technology. |

Verax - Raman reaction monitoring |
|

|
The VERAX™ reaction
monitoring system turns Raman spectroscopy into a truly in-situ
technique, allowing you to carry out Raman analysis in real time as
a reaction evolves. The VERAX™ spectrometer has a range of 250–1940
cm-1, uses a 785 nm diode laser and a TE-cooled CCD array detector,
and comes with a fiber-optic probe from the RamanProbe™ range. You
can use the VERAX™ inside a conventional lab-scale reaction vessel
or your choice of ALR (Automated Laboratory Reactor) to generate
real-time data on the reactions and chemical changes that are taking
place - all without perturbing the process to remove samples.
Reactor modifications are kept to a minimum - often avoided
completely - since RamanProbes™ are compact enough to fit into many
existing reactor ports and can collect data through the walls of
glass reactors. |

SpotView - Surface
analysis & Cleaning Validation |
|
 |
The detection and
measurement of surface contamination and coatings is important in a
number of different industries. Metal parts need to be free of
cutting oils before painting -- lubrication coatings must be uniform
-- the cleanliness of pharmaceutical reactors must be validated
before returning them to use. The patented Remspec SpotView(TM)
system, with a grazing angle probe, provides a way to measure the
thickness of very thin coatings down to the scale of a few tens of
Angstroms or a few micrograms per square centimeter. SpotView(TM) is
ideal for studying surface contamination and verifying the
cleanliness of large metal objects such as pharmaceutical batch
reactors. A high-sensitivity MCT detector (with a Stirling cycle
cooler) is mounted on the head. With very high sensitivity and the
flexibility of a long cable, the Remspec room-temperature grazing
angle probe marks a major step forward in spectroscopic thin film
analysis and cleaning validation. |

ReactionProbe - MidIR Acessory systems for use with existing FTIR
Probes. |
|
 |
If you already own
an FTIR spectrometer, you may want to add fiber-optic capability
without purchasing a whole new system. The Remspec mid-IR
fiber-optic probe can be coupled to most FTIR spectrometers,
provided that a collimated beam output port and an external detector
plug are available. We have systems working and in active use on
Bio-Rad, Bomem, Bruker, Midac, and Thermo Nicolet benches. The
coupling is straightforward for Analect (ie Orbital, Hamilton
Sundstrand, etc, etc.) and most Perkin-Elmer systems (Eg Spectrum
One). |
