BioXplore is an international company
specialising in the development, manufacturing and distribution of
leading edge equipment for biochemical and biotechnology research.
Our staff can help you in every step of your process development
from discovery, early screening phase, to process development and
optimisation.
We can offer a pipeline of controlled fermentors and bio-reactor
ranging from less than 30ml to 2000ml working volume, with systems
specifically designed to meet bacteria and cells culture needs but
all sharing the same philosophy : make your experiments easier and
faster.

New multiple bio-reactor with state of the art control system
We are pleased to announce a new multiple bio-reactor for screening
and parallel process optimisation.
The Xpert is designed to be a turn-key benchtop system and will be
available in two basic versions for bacterial and cell cultures
respectively. Both can operate up to four independent controlled
reactors, use state of art electronics and software, can be remotely
controlled via PC, and can provide easy integration with analytical
on-line instruments. Cell culture version can also accommodate a
built-in four-gas mixing system.
Calorimetric and turbidity on-line measurement will be available
soon. More integrations will follow soon.
Find out more about the Xpert's small
footprint, its integrated control system and its powerful dedicated
software.

The Xplorer is a fully integrated small
scale (~30ml) multi fermentor / bioreactor system, designed to speed
up and improve early screening phase in advanced bioprocesses.
|
The Xplorer can be configured as multiple fermentor (for bacteria
and yeast culture) or as multiple bio-reactor (for cells culture)
and can be fitted with 4 or 8 stirred glass vessels.
Each vessel has a minimum working volume of about 30 ml to minimize
media consumption and fully independent control for temperature, pH,
dissolved oxygen and stirring. To handle very small working volumes,
Xplorer can be fitted with microsampling systems and be easily
integrated with analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC, FTIR or
mass spectroscopy to collect critical process data. |
 |
When configured for cell applications Xplorer can also be integrated
with a four gas mixing system (Air, O2, CO2 and N2).
Xplorer can handle batch, fed batch and continuous processes and
work as stand-alone system or be controlled by a remote PC, thanks
to a powerful dedicated software with an easy- to-use graphical
interface.
